PostLocal - Graphic & UI Design for a B2B and B2C E-commerce Platform

For PostLocal, I was responsible for the complete UI/UX design of both the Merchant Portal and the consumer-facing Marketplace. PostLocal is a unique e-commerce platform and payment solution aimed at supporting local Irish businesses and entrepreneurs by connecting them with their communities online. My design approach focused on creating an intuitive, user-friendly interface that would empower non-technical businesses to manage their storefronts and products with ease, while providing customers with a seamless shopping experience across devices.

I also developed the Order Manager App, designed to help businesses efficiently handle orders using a mobile payment terminal. This app covered the entire order lifecycle—from acceptance to returns—and included essential features like order history and profile management, all aimed at simplifying the business workflow.

Additionally, my role extended to graphic design, where I crafted impactful visuals for social media, exhibition stands, flyers, and stationery, ensuring a cohesive brand presence and increased user engagement.

Empowering Local Communities

Although PostLocal may appear as a typical e-commerce platform, the essence of the project was far more meaningful. At its core, PostLocal is about empowering local Irish businesses, many of which are non-technical, by helping them thrive in the digital space. The heart of the project lay in connecting these small businesses with their communities and fostering a sense of belonging and support through technology.
